La Isleta del Moro perfectly embodies the typical fishing village of the area, the small boats near the beach, the white houses of modest fishermen and the extraordinary peace in most parts of the year partially interrupted only in the months summer.
The most representative sight of the town is the beach with two large rocks or landforms, visible from far away, one of them is slightly separated from land, such it was a small island, hence the village called "La Isleta del Moro" (Morish Island).
From the road, we will have a postcard image of the whole village: a palm forest at the entrance, the white houses piled near the beach and large islets characteristic of this population.
In the same town there are several places to go for a swim, the largest beach is called Playa del Penon Blanco (Beach of the white Rock).
Excellent place to enjoy Mediterranean fishing and learn the various ways in which fish are known in this area: bream, bream, pollico, milk, cock pedro. In most cases, you can choose to be served on fried fish (coated in flour and fried in oil) or grilled, both forms don't mask the smooth taste of fresh fish.
